Before launching her private practice in January 2012, Karen spent nearly 28 years in Kennett Square as the Business Manager, and then General Counsel, of one of the largest mushroom farming organizations in the United States.
Karen earned dual Bachelor of Science majors, in Business Administration and Accounting, from Delaware State University. She obtained her Juris Doctor from Widener University School of Law in 2002, while working as a full-time business executive.
Being part of the Southern Chester County community has always been at the heart of who Karen really is. Karen is involved with many local non-profits working to make a difference in her community, for her neighbors.
Karen is licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (2002) and the United States District Court, Eastern District of Pennsylvania (2012). She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and is a frequent lecturer and ardent instructor on subjects of labor and employment law, and estate planning.
Karen and her husband Dan have been married since 2002 and they reside in Newark, Delaware. Karen and Dan love to visit the local businesses in our community and participate in networking events as much as they can.
